to donate or not to donate...

....that is the question
So a few weeks ago my friend Robbin told me about a craigslist posting she saw in the Boston area. It is a fertility agency looking for healthy woman ages 22-34 who would be willing to be egg donors. I idea sparked an interest in me. It was one of those lightbulb moments so to say. I would love to do that. I have two amazing children who are smart and beautiful. My sister and brother both have families full of healthy, beautiful children....why not. Why would I not do this. I have seen first hand the pain that infertility causes a couple. It's not like I'm using my eggs anymore, why not give them to someone who wants a child so badly. I did a little research and the whole process seems a lot like adoption. I give a very detailed profile on my family history and personal traits, and if a potential couple is interested in me then it begins. And we can decide too if we'd like to approach this like an open adoption. Stay in contact throughout the years and meet in the future if the child would like. That would be so great. I have been yearning for a way give back for a long time now. I am poor, so I can't give away money. I am a mom, student, and sole provider, so I have very little time to give away as well. But I do have eggs left. And like I said, I'm not using them, so why not?!?!?!?!? What do you think?
