COLD autum night amoungst friends

I am sitting here in Gilford, NH late Saturday night. It was such a relaxing day. Not quite as busy as I had anticipated, but that is actually a good thing. Syd and Chris have such great friends, soo caring, smart and funny. We laughed a lot today. No cute boys to flirt with, but honestly, that's ok. I probably wouldn't remember how to flirt anyway. I was capable to striking up conversations with random people about random things, and that's a pretty big feat for me lately. I didn't drink too much, which is also a bonus. A mini-keg of Magic Hat 9 was tastey and hit the spot this evening. We spoke of literature, politics, travel and funny t.v. shows. (youtube, search "weeds jerk sock") Pretty funny shit.I miss my boy so much, but it was nice to have time with Lilac alone. I think that she really appreciated it too. She is such a good girl. No, she is a great girl. I am raising a GREAT girl. I am so lucky and I love her so much.The other highlights of the weekend have been conversations with the Leggett children. These are the smartest kids I have ever known. Hands down. I will try and share some Connor/Sophie anecdotes tomarrow when I am not so sleepy!
